Technology continues to advance in the world of gastroenterology. Applying these advances to pediatric patients presents unique challenges. The obstacles faced in the practice of pediatric gastroenterology include the areas of equipment, volume of cases, and approaches to care and management of the patient. This session will present pediatric case studies illustrating the use of new technologies along with their challenges and outcomes, both successful and unsuccessful.

We are pleased to present the Abstracts from the SGNA's 32nd Annual Course: Passion for GI Nursing: Pass It On!! The diversity of these topics certainly reflects the richness and breadth of our specialty. In keeping with the tradition of the Annual Course, we hope the following abstracts will encourage discussions for improving nursing practice and patient care outcomes.
