Hawaii has the lowest overall mortality rate for women, and Colorado has the lowest rate of obesity among women. These are a few of the findings about women's health released in a new report, Women's Health and Mortality Chartbook , prepared by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women's Health.
The book is a collection of current state data on critical issues relating to women's health. The report ranks 27 health indicators, including death rates, health risk factors, preventive care, and health insurance coverage.
