Article Content

Three exemplary nursing research articles, originally slated for this issue, have been delayed until a future issue of Critical Care Nursing Quarterly. This resolution was deemed most desirable for both the authors and our readers as their inclusion in this issue would have required significant downsizing to meet the page count constraints of the journal. In place of the in-depth research articles, two unsolicited short articles and a book review complete this issue. Swanson and Winkelman present a thought-provoking stance on the benefits and myths of enteral feeding in the critically ill patient. Finally, Winters and Mayer invite those of us in sophisticated urban centers to step back a moment and appreciate the challenges of managing the acute care needs of a cardiac patient in a rural setting. Enjoy these special features and plan to read Dr Hanneman's final three articles in a future issue.
